The VX-5HD 3-15x44 Riflescope (model #171716) features the CDS-ZL2 (ZeroLock 2) dial, providing two revolutions of elevation adjustment while eliminating accidental dial movement with the push-button ZeroLock system. It also includes Leupold's award-winning Custom Dial System (CDS), allowing shooters to order a laser-marked bullet-drop dial to match their exact ballistics and conditions.
Equipped with FireDot Duplex illuminated reticle and Push-Button Illumination with Motion Sensor Technology, this riflescope offers 8 illumination settings for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The low-profile, one-revolution CDS-ready dials can be released by pushing the lock button, dialed, and then easily returned to zero.
Designed with advanced sealing methods, our optics withstand extreme temperatures, elevation changes, and shocks, ensuring the internals stay moisture-free and the image remains crystal clear for life. Every Leupold riflescope is tested to survive a minimum of 5,000 impacts on the Punisher, our recoil simulation machine, with the force of each impact being 3 times the recoil of a .308 rifle.
We subject our optics to rigorous testing in extreme temperatures ranging from -20°F to 140°F to ensure they perform at the highest level in the harshest conditions.
